Race Information
The 9th Annual NH5K will be Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 8 am. It will
begin & end at Hopkin's Park, 1403 Sycamore Rd., DeKalb, IL. No
dogs please.

Race day registration
for pre-reg and day-of registrants is from 6:30-7:30 a.m. Pre-race
talk at
7:45 a.m. at Hopkins Park. Arrive early to ensure proper and accurate
registration. T-shirts may not be available for race day registrants.
Cost:
The NH 5K is $25 by 4/7 and $30 after 4/7. All proceeds benefit Neighbors'
House after-school and summer programs.
Parking
Parking is available on the north and south side of Hopkin's Park Community
Center.

Course Information
The start and finish line are located within Hopkin's Park. The 5K course
is a flat, scenic route through DeKalb's premiere park.
Timed Race
The Neighbors' House 5K will be timed manually.
Awards
Top female and male finishers will receive a medal and a prize. Medals
will also be awarded for top male and female finishers, age 15 and under,
as well as top male and female finishers 15 and up, 50-60, 60-70, and 70 & up. All participants
are eligible to win a raffle prize at the conclusion of the race.
T-Shirts
All pre-registered runners (by 4/8) are guaranteed a t-shirt. T-shirts will be
available for race day registrants only while supplies last.

Pre-Registration Fee by Mail: $25
Contact Neighbors' House for a registration form. Complete the registration
form and send your check for $25(postmarked by April 7, 2012)
to Neighbors' House, PO Box 132 DeKalb, IL 60115. Runner packets
will not be mailed out. Pre-registrants will be able to pick up their
packets at the registration area on race day between 6:30 & 7:30
am.
